After many years of event planning and wedding consulting, Carol Thurman founded Oh!Ccasions in 2005.

As a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church Wedding Guild, Carol received excellent training and experience as a wedding planner, Carol also now serves on the Flower Guild at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Her many years of volunteering and planning friends’ weddings has now turned into one of Atlanta’s fastest growing wedding planning companies.

The reason Oh!Ccasions is growing to be one of the best wedding and special event planning sources in the Atlanta area is due to the passion Carol has always had for weddings and the desire to fulfill the dreams of her brides and grooms beyond their expectations. Oh!Ccasions approach to the weddings and events is a total team effort, and it is very evident in the way that every little detail is addressed. We are aware that there are many wedding planning consultants to choose from and we strive to offer a service that is above and beyond any of the others our brides may be considering.

Oh!Ccasions was very fortunate to add Kathleen Lortie on staff, in January of 2006. Kathleen’s experience as a part-time school teacher has been very beneficial in her ability to handle all the details and personalities that are presented at each wedding.

In the Fall of 2006 Randy Halpern joined Oh!Ccasions. Her past experience as a co-owner of a retail party store which specialized in customized invitations, and party decorating has also been very beneficial to OH!Ccasions.

The latest addition to Oh!Ccasions is Emily Waid, who joined in the spring of 2007. Emily’s expertise in cake decorating and designing reception themes has also been a great addition to Oh!Ccasions.
